Actor Kevin Spacey charged with sexual assault, releases odd Frank Underwood-style video

Since the #MeToo movement began there have been allegations have come out against celebrities from every industry, several big names have been accused of acting inappropriately, possibly illegally.

However, since the movement began there probably isn’t a bigger name accused of sexual assault and, in some instances, rape than Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey. Before the dozens of allegations, Spacey was beloved by the Hollywood elite. He’s been nominated for and won two Oscars, a Golden Globe winner, an Emmy nominee and he’s starred in such legendary films such as “Seven,” “The Usual Suspects” and “L.A. Confidential.” Most recently though, he was the star of the wildly popular Netflix dark political drama House of Cards.

Since the allegations though, Spacey has fallen far and fast. He was fired from his Netflix show, completely cut out from last year’s “All The Money in the World” and currently, doesn’t have anything in the works.  However, things look to only be getting worse for Spacey.

On Monday, Spacey was charged with felony sexual assault on a then-17-year-old.  The supposed attack happened in 2016 at Massachusetts bar. Spacey is set to be arraigned on Jan. 7 and if convicted could get up to five years in prison.

Now, though, it appears Spacey may be losing his mind. On the same day he was charged with sexual assault, he released an extremely odd video of himself as his character from House of Cards, Frank Underwood. His uses the same voice, the same mannerisms as he discusses the accusations that have been leveled against him. It’s one of the weirdest and most off-putting things I seen in a while.

Check out what is easily Spacey’s weirdest performance yet:
