Justice Ginsberg has cancerous growths removed from lungs

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg is back in the hospital. The eighty-five year old judge underwent surgery to remove two malignant nodules in her lung. According to the Washington Post, the cancerous spots were discovered after her fall back in November.

According to a statement released by the court, scans did not find disease anywhere else in the body and no further treatment is expected. Ginsberg will remain in the hospital for a few days.

Ginsberg has had previous bouts with cancer and mant have been critical that she did not step down when President Obama was in the Oval Office, securing a left leaning judge for her seat.
