Christmas is the season of giving, generally bringing out the best in people and helping those in need without expecting anything in return.
It’s also a time when most people are able to set aside differences, including political, to help one another out, to give someone a reason to smile, if only for a few seconds. That’s just what former President Barack Obama did when he recently visited The Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Wearing a Santa hat, carrying a sack of presents and singing Christmas carols, Obama handed gifts out to the patients.
