No, they aren’t rebooting the show…yet. But the gang from Pawnee, Indiana will reunite in 2019.
The recently-announced reunion will apart of PaleyFest in L.A. in mid-March. It will mark 10 years since the NBC sitcom first debuted in April 2009.
In a joint statement, series star Amy Poehler and series creator Mike Schur said: “We’re thrilled to be reuniting at PaleyFest. And truth be told, we were all hanging out already anyway, so carpooling will be easy.”
Since the series ended in 2015, members of the cast have gone on to do bigger and better things. Chris Pratt, as the lovable loser Andy Dwyer, was the series’ real breakout star and has gone on to become a megastar, starring in a number of Marvel films.
