The 80s group Loverboy said it best when they stated they were “Working for the Weekend.” Jobs aren’t fun, most people don’t enjoy going to their place of employment day after day after day but the paychecks are always nice, right?
Well, a paycheck wasn’t enough to keep one teen in Canada from quitting his job in a very public way.
A 17-year-old teen took to one Walmart’s intercom to air his grievances against his superiors and place of employment, ending in a profanity-laced rant as he announced that he was in fact quitting.
The teen then made his public resignation even more public when he put it on Facebook. The video has been viewed more than 280,000 times and shared nearly 2,600 times.
Yes, he may have “owned” his employers and gained momentary fame as the video has gone viral, but does he really think this is going to help with his future employment opportunities?
