Planned Parenthood’s new president Leana Wen posted an incredibly tone deaf tweet condemning gun violence on the anniversary of the tragic Sandy Hook school shooting.
Wen tweeted, “6 years ago today, we lost 20 children & 6 educators to gun violence at #SandyHook. In honoring their lives, we must assert gun violence is a public health epidemic & should be treated with the same rigor as any other medical crisis.”

She then provided a link to a page on Planned Parenthood’s website that addresses gun violence, calling it an epidemic and public health crisis.
Parents should never have to fear that their children will lose their lives to senseless gun violence. To elected officials who’ve neglected to use their legislative power to sensibly respond to these massacres, we ask: When is enough, enough? Policymakers should take notice and listen to their constituents.
Guess what, Dr. Wen? Planned Parenthood has killed more children than guns have. 321,384 to be exact. It’s well past time to defund this organization.
Killing children with guns or scalpels are both public health crises.
The difference is that the medical establishment literally has baby's blood on its hands.

Ironic coming from someone whose organization beheads babies every day.
