President Trump’s son-in-law and White House adviser, Jared Kushner, met with the President today about possibly becoming the next Chief-of-Staff. “We are interviewing people now for chief of staff,” Trump told reporters during a photo op with new Republican governors but the White House has not officially commented on Kushner’s interest in the job.
Besides obvious nepotism concerns, it’s also possible Kushner was implicated in Michael Flynn’s testimony. He has also had to disclose tax filings multiple times on suspicion of ethics violations.
Reaction was negative on Twitter.
They guy who keeps lying on his disclosure forms?
HE’S PERFECT!! BE BEST!!

I honestly can't tell what's a joke anymore.

When there are so many HIGHLY qualified ppl available for Chief of Staff (e.g. McFarland, Flynn, Gingrich, Lewandowski, Meadows, Nunes), to mention Jared Kushner in the same breath is blasphemy. (Nepotism as well, but, heck, whatz yet another questionable decision?)

Jared Kushner as Chief of Staff would be the worst personnel move of the Trump administration — by far

Jared Kushner did so well with the Saudi account and brokering peace in the Middle East. Time for a promotion!!! #TrumpStyle

FFS: Trump’s top candidate for Chief of Staff? Jared Kushner. Can someone who can’t get a full security clearance serve as Chief? Absolutely not. This is why we have anti-nepotism laws.
