On Tuesday, the public was given the opportunity to pay their final respect to former President George H.W. Bush as he rest in Capitol Rotunda in Washington D.C. As people filed in and out, one person paying their respects got some attention: Former GOP presidential nominee Bob Dole.
At age 95, former Kansas senator and WWII veteran, Bob Dole is confined to a wheelchair. However, Dole wanted to properly salute former president and fellow veteran, George H.W. Bush. He was helped from his wheelchair as he stood and saluted Bush’s casket.
