Heartbreaking photo shows love, dedication of George H.W. Bush’s service animal

The 41st President of The United States of America passed away Friday evening. No matter your feelings on the late president, he served this country in a variety of positions. He served in the military, ambassador to the United Nations, a United States Congressman, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Vice President of the United States and finally, President of the United States.

Finally, before he passed away, he had an animal that served him. The two-year-old Labrador service animal, Sully, became apart of the Republican president’s life after his wife, Barbara passed away in June.

On Sunday evening, Jim McGrath, a spokesman for the elder Bush tweeted out a photo that will likely cause you to shed a tear or two or three.
