Michael Avenatti was arrested Wednesday for felony domestic violence. Avenatti’s estranged wife filed the report, saying her face was “swollen and bruised.”
Apparently, the incident happened when Avenatti attempted to kick his wife out of an apartment. It was then that supposedly things turned physical and his wife ended up with injuries to her face.

Just before 6 p.m., Avenatti was said to still be in police custody.
Avenatti, who represents porn star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against President Trump, has frequently been mentioned as a 2020 Democratic candidate for president.
Seeking to keep his 15 minutes going, Avenatti was also trying to get in on the Kavanaugh hearings, saying that he represented a woman who witnessed Brett Kavanaugh commit sexual assault, even gang rape and spike drinks at parties.
