Tuesday, Nov. 6 was Election Day and here it is Saturday, Nov. 10 and Florida is still unsure as to who exactly won their elections.
On Saturday, Florida’s secretary of state officially called for a recount in both the gubernatorial and U.S. Senate races. In the announcement, the secretary of state the results of Florida’s recount are due by 3 p.m. on Nov. 15. Perhaps Florida will be able to deliver by that date.
Following the announcement, Democratic gubernatorial candidate, who had previously conceded to Republican DeSantis, decided that uh…nevermind, just kidding and took it back.
NEW: Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum responds to the recount ordered of several races in the state: "Let me say clearly: I am replacing my words of concession with an uncompromised, and unapologetic call that we count every single vote." https://t.co/UqmyLaenHA pic.twitter.com/WNhsgEaRnK
