Republican Mike Braun has defeated incumbent and Democrat Joe Donnelly.
Throughout the entire race, Braun and Donnelly were running neck and neck. Both campaigns went back and forth at one another over taxes, immigration, the economy and Kavanaugh.
Indiana and Donnelly was a place the GOP had targeted for a while now and evidently were successful.
Indiana will have two Republican senators with Todd Young and now Mike Braun.
Donnelly seemed to doom his chances at re-election after failing to support President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. However, as expected, Donnelly ran away from his party, telling voters of his support of President Trump, but it proved to not be enough.
