President Donald Trump isn’t one to win and not let everyone around him know about it. For instance, let’s take a look at a tweet Trump sent out on Tuesday morning.
“Federal Judge throws out Stormy Danials lawsuit versus Trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees.” @FoxNews Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!

Of course, the president is talking about a federal judge throwing out a defamation lawsuit brought against him by porn star Stormy Daniels and her lawyer Michael Avenatti. The judge also ruled that Daniels is responsible for paying Trump’s legal fees associated with the case.
Yes, this was a win for the president. That particular lawsuit was pretty flimsy and deserved to be thrown out. Ok, fine. But there was absolutely no need for Trump to refer to the woman as a “Horseface.”
Listen, I understand the media ignores the economy and picks at everything the president says and does and then dissects it, endlessly.
I understand that the media is constantly tearing down Melania. Examining her clothes, her body language and in some cases, even mocking her accent. If the woman was a Democrat the press would be in love with her. She’d be on the cover of every fashion magazine weekly.
I get that the press is not friendly to Trump, believe me. However, there was absolutely no need for Trump to call the woman such a term. The press and likely a decent size of the population already believes Trump degrades women, why give them any more ammo or reason to believe it’s true?
Plus, there’s a thing called an election coming up in a couple of weeks and tweets like that aren’t likely to help win over a huge swath of women voters.
Sometimes, Mr. President, it’s ok to celebrate silently. You know, put down the twitter machine for a day or so, it’ll still be there when you get back.
