At her request, the State Department has revoked Hillary Clinton’s security clearance. In a letter to Charles Grassley, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Clinton informs the Senator her security clearance has been withdrawn.
Her request comes amid the ongoing review of e-mails she sent on a private server. Five aides to Clinton also had their clearance revoked, but their names were redacted with the exception of Cheryl Mills.
Clinton did not reveal why she made the request.
