Michelle Obama has a popular saying that when political opponents go low, go high instead. It makes sense, right? Why get down in the gutter with name calling, character assassination and any other mudslinging that just further lowers the level of discourse in the country.
Hillary Clinton and now former Attorney General Eric Holder, apparently don’t agree with Michelle Obama. Clinton says it’s impossible to be civil with a political party that wants to destroy everything you believe in. She went on to say “that’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.”
In their continued approach at abandoning civility, Holder wants to kick Republicans.
"When they go low, we kick them. That's what this new Democratic party is about." Eric Holder

Honestly, no one benefits from this kind of activity. Instead of talking about issues that actually matter to peoples’ lives, candidates and others often waste precious time on this kind of idiocy. Voters, while they may at first enjoy that kind of political tribalism, in the long run, it just turns citizens off to the political process.
