Democrat Joe Donnelly is set to vote against Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court. He’s made that abundantly clear, even putting out a statement about his decision.

However, in the opening line of his statement Donnelly makes sure to let us know that he voted for President Trump’s prior nominee to the Supreme Court Gorsuch. That’s been Donnelly in a nutshell during his time as Indiana’s senator. He wants to tell us how incredible moderate his is, but all the while appeasing the liberal leaders of his party. For instance, Donnelly voted for Obamacare, the Iran Nuclear Deal and against Trump’s tax reform plan. He doesn’t have enough courage to go out and vote in a way where his decision would affect the outcome one way or the other.
Well, finally the Braun campaign is shining a light on Donnelly’s voting not matching up with his conservative, moderate Joe rhetoric.
Check out the Braun campaign’s latest ad:
.@SenDonnelly says he’s in the middle, but he’s not. He votes with Schumer, endorsed Hillary, and now he's standing with the extreme left against Judge Kavanaugh.
That’s not common sense. It’s just another career politician who will say anything to keep his job. #INSen pic.twitter.com/fBmoimcXS5
