Democrats continue to move goalposts on Kavanaugh: Feinstein says Friday too soon to vote

If you thought the Democrats were ever for a second sincere about getting to the truth of the sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanugh, you are a total sucker. This was a total and complete partisan attack in order to do nothing more than to delay the Kavanuagh confirmation vote until after the Nov. 6 elections.

First, the Democrats needed to schedule a hearing to listen to Dr. Ford’s allegations against Kavanaugh. Fine. Republicans and Kavanaugh were willing to do it as soon as possible, but Democrats and Ford kept delaying, pushing it back.

Then when they got their hearing, it was too soon and “inappropriate” to vote on Kavanaugh without an FBI investigation. Feinstein, Schumer and the rest of the Dems through a fit a 16-year-old would’ve been proud of in order to get their way. They got their FBI investigation.

Now, as Feinstein says, this week is entirely too soon to vote on Kavanuagh. The woman who held onto Dr. Ford’s letter of sexual assault allegations for six weeks said: “It’s Tuesday and we have to put all the facts together.”

However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is having none of that, seeing the Democrats moves as nothing more than what they are, attempts to obstruct and delay.

McConnell said: “The time for endless delay and destruction has come to a close. Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination is out of committee, we’re considering it here on the floor, and Mr. President, we’ll be voting this week.”

Hopefully, this time enough Republicans grew a spine within the last week and call the Democrats out on their shameless attempts at blocking the full Senate vote on Kavanaugh and you know, actually vote on him.
