Twitter isn’t allowing conservative Hollywood actor James Woods tweet.
Woods, who is known for his very unHollywood conservative views on the social media site, isn’t being allowed to tweet due to a meme he shared months ago, in July. Apparently, Woods tweeted a meme which encouraged men not to vote in the November election, thought to be from the Democrats. It wasn’t and Twitter isn’t happy about it.
Here it is, @jack. Now…what is it about this tweet that made you ban @realJamesWoods? pic.twitter.com/me2A7GiyJn

Tweeter said Woods’ tweet “has the potential to be misleading in a way that could impact an election.” However, Twitter has said Woods can come back on the social media site one condition: delete the tweet.
Woods, though, isn’t having it. He’s refusing to delete the tweet which Twitter finds so offensive, saying “free speech is free speech, it’s not (Twitter CEO) Jack Dorsey’s version of free speech.”
Does Woods have an argument here? Maybe, but it’s not the government censoring his speech, it’s a company. The company has the right to say who can and cannot use their service.
