The best-selling memoir from former FBI director James Comey is coming to television.
The Hollywood Reporter confirms that CBS Television Studios has acquired the rights to the book and already have a writer, director and production team selected. Deadline is reporting that CBS has yet to determine a platform for the show and it could appear on either network, cable or their streaming service.
The book, which Comey describes as more than a tell-all book about President Trump, has sold more than 2 million copies and topped the New York Times Bestseller list when it was released.
Billy Ray (Captain Phillips) will write the screenplay with Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek: Discovery) & Shane Salerno (Avatar 2) set to executive produce.
