Issa Rae, star of ‘Insecure,’ threatens to cancel show if FLOTUS liked it, but doesn’t follow through

Liberals love to hear themselves talk…and talk and talk.  Another thing they love to do: make empty threats. For example, if any of them did really follow on the things they said, most of Hollywood would now be living in Canada. I mean, The View would’ve had to hire a totally new cast of loudmouth idiots.

Well, this week brought us another empty threat from a “woke” Hollywood liberal looking to gain some cool points from her peers. Issa Rae, the star of HBO’s “Insecure,” threatened to cancel her show if she found out First Lady Melania Trump enjoyed the program.

“It was like talking to my auntie. It bums me out that I will never have that feeling again of the First Family fucking with us so hard and getting us. If Melania [Trump] said that to me, I would be like, ‘Well, I guess it’s canceled. We’re not making this show. It’s not ours anymore.’”

Well, come to find out FLOTUS does enjoy the Home Box Office program, with her spokesperson tweeting out this little piece of perfection:

So, naturally Rae should cancel her show, right? I mean if her words hold any value at all she should pull the plug. Well, not so fast. Rae was apparently kidding you see.

She tweeted on Sept. 6 that her show had been renewed for another season. The article in which Rae said she’d cancel her program came out on Sept. 4. So again, another empty, meaningless threat from a Hollywood liberal.
