Brett Kavanaugh’s hearing off to a rough start

Brett Kavanaugh had barely sat down in his seat, when Democrats began throwing a fit over withheld documents. Sen. Charles Grassley couldn’t even get the words out to introduce the Supreme Court nominee, when he was interrupted by Sen. Kamala Harris who tried to postpone the hearing.

Grassley told her she was  out of order and proceeded to talk over her before being interrupted again by begging for the hearing to be adjourned.

That was followed by screaming and protests.

Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy accused Republicans of trying to hide something: “What are we trying to hide? Why are we rushing?”

And according to Shannon Bream, Kavanaugh’s children had to be escorted out due to the protests.

Meanwhile, outside the confirmation hearing, women are dressed as handmaids.

22 people have also been arrested for protesting.

And this is just the first hour and a half!

It’s going to be a long process, folks.
