The U.K. is already banning knives but could they also be on the verge of banning tools?
This is a real tweet from the Regents Park Police after a weapons sweep took some common everyday tools off the streets, including scissors, needle nose pliers and a couple screwdrivers.

It does not appear to satire and the responses are hilarious.
Just imagine their horror walking down the tool aisle at the local hardware store. This has to be satire. #asinine

Multitools can cut 100 slices of sharp cheddar per second. This high powered utility knife does not belong in the hands of a civilian.

Apparently, a hardware store is now considered an arsenal. A tool box is nothing but a weapon containment unit. Please tell me this is a joke. Can the world possible have gone collectively insane? The craft drawer in my laundry room should make me feel like a ninja.
