Advertisers are caving and bending to the will of a high school student.
Yesterday, conservative radio and Fox News host, Laura Ingraham, tweeted out a message about Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg being rejected from college.
David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.) https://t.co/wflA4hWHXY

That’s what she tweeted. Nothing less, nothing more.
Was it the smartest thing to do? Probably not. But it’s not awful.
Well, Mr. Hogg, liberal hero of the moment, was incredibly offended. Not only demanding an apology from Ingraham, but he started going after her advertisers.

And you know what, those companies began caving, giving into the demands of a high school student.
But the story doesn’t stop there. Ingraham apologized for her “insensitive” tweet. However, that turned out not to be enough for Hogg, he is now demanding an apology from an entire network.
I 100% agree an apology in an effort just to save your advertisers is not enough. I will only accept your apology only if you denounce the way your network has treated my friends and I️ in this fight. It’s time to love thy neighbor, not mudsling at children. https://t.co/H0yWs4zMGk

Yes, the same kid that said Sen. Marco Rubio had blood on his hands, that also said radio host Dana Loesch was a propagandist for the NRA and calling her disgusting, wants an apology from entire network.
I understand he’s been through a horrible, horrible thing. But this kid is taking his 15 minutes a little far. You can’t accuse a sitting senator of being directly responsible for the deaths of 17 people and then claim the moral high ground, demanding an apology.
Seriously, is where we are in 2018? If so, it’s a sad, sad place.

It’s one thing to read about Laura Ingraham’s suggestion that LeBron should “shut up and dribble,” that Lindsey Vonn shoulg “shut up and ski” and just groan at the fear she is showing when faced with dissenting opinions. Quite another to see that she effed up again and witness David Hogg praised for taking Ingraham to school on politics and policy when he’s acting just as petulantly as she did.
