Yesterday during a White House meeting, President Trump may or may not have said “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” when discussing immigration policies affecting people from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries. He possibly went on to later say “Why do we need more Haitians?” and “Take them out.”
There’s not really a good source for these quotes and in fact, many news outlets were referring to the source as “people familiar with the meeting.” CNN took the racial route, with Anderson Cooper saying the President specifically mentioned these countries because he doesn’t want more black people coming to the United States.
This morning, Trump tweeted this statement:
Never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country. Never said “take them out.” Made up by Dems. I have a wonderful relationship with Haitians. Probably should record future meetings – unfortunately, no trust!

Of course, Twitter lit up in response to the alleged quotes and conservatives Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh, both from the Daily Wire, had some of the best responses to offended and outraged liberals.
The people who spent 8 years calling their political opponents "teabaggers" are now offended by the term "shithole."
Ok. Sure.

"Donald Trump's vulgarity is corrupting our children," she said as she put on her vagina hat. "But those damned teabaggers still love him."

Yes I'm sure this is the first time those children in the schoolyard have heard the word "shit" https://t.co/6NgZUMijjy

I was in elementary school when I heard about stains on a blue dress and creative uses for a cigar, so spare me the "Trump is corrupting our youth" nonsense. The news during the Clinton years was literally X-rated.

There are lots of reasons for media to smash what Trump said yesterday. His vulgarity is not one of them. These are the same people who cheered Joe "Big F***ing Deal" Biden.

Question: did NPR say the f-word on air after Biden? https://t.co/eZ7n9GYeoo

So if these “dreamers” AREN’T from sh*tholes, they should be thrilled to be going back from whence they came, no?

Rule of thumb: if the water where you live is not potable because local engineers can’t somehow separate well water from sewage water, you live in a #shithole country. Literally.
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) January 12, 2018
All these leftist pearl clutchers are so upset President Trump referred to some “shithole” countries while they’ve spent the last 2 years+ telling us the USA is a shithole country not worth standing for. Please. Get over yourselves.

Maybe my memory is failing me but I️ don’t recall Anderson Cooper crying on national television when the Clinton’s stole millions from Haitians.

And on the liberal side:
I could call @realDonaldTrump’s comments racist, vile and disgusting because that is what they are. But I also want to tell you about Joe Freddy Francois because immigrants from Haiti, Africa and everywhere else are an integral part of the American fabric.
— Elizabeth Warren (@SenWarren) January 12, 2018
The latest outrage from President Trump disparaging immigrants from what he calls "shithole" countries is a new low. It's disgraceful for him, the country, and every American.

The president is a racist. He has been for his entire public life. If you vote(d) for him, you do so because of that or despite that. We need a multi-racial anti-racist coalition to defeat him and try to heal our nation.
