Katy Perry Wants Us All to Just Love Each Other
Pop star Katy Perry is speaking out about the Manchester bombing, making an impassioned plea for everyone to just coexist. During an interview with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, the singer called for love and unity following the ISIS attack in England. “Whatever we say behind people’s backs, the Internet can be a little bit ruthless as far as fan bases go but I think that the greatest thing we can do is just unite and love on each other,” Perry said. “No barriers, no borders, we all just need to co-exist.”
The video with the interview has since been taken down, but you can read more of Perry’s thoughts here.
Since the November election, the avid Clinton supporter has become much more vocal about politics, penning “Chained to the Rhythm” as a resistance anthem against the Trump administration. While her comments about the bombing may have been well-intentioned, they once again show how ignorant liberal Hollywood is about radical Islam.
Maybe Katy should take her “let’s all hug and love everyone” philosophy over to Iran or Afganistan and see how well that works out for her. If she tries to hug a male member of society out in the open, they’ll probably cut her arms off…or worse.
Or parade around Mosul alone in one of her concert costumes where the Islamic State makes women cover everything, even their eyes. Punishment there for not adhering to the dress code is a whipping.
Leftist celebrities want to preach love, tolerance and coexisting but fail to realize that only works if the other cultures also commit to coexisting too and in the case of ISIS, they’re only out for blood and have no interest in accepting Western culture.
And how about that wall around your mansion, Katy? Hypocrite much?
