House Passes Obamacare Replacement Bill
You’ve probably heard by now but the House passed a bill to replace Obamacare today. However, it’s still not officially repealed or replaced – the next step is to get through the Senate where it will probably undergo quite a few changes before hitting the President’s desk. There’s also a possibility that it may not get enough votes in the Senate to pass. So it’s a bit pre-mature to celebrate or mourn the end of Obamacare as we know it.
The feminists are angry though. They’ve already taken to social media to scream about “old white men” making health care and reproductive decisions for them.
This meme very quickly sprung up on Facebook.
Liberals just don’t get it, do they? Republicans don’t want anyone to die and no one is advocating that women not get the health care they need. Planned Parenthood makes billions of dollars off abortion each year, so I think they can probably afford to keep their doors open.
What Republicans hopefully will do is offer better and more affordable CHOICES for health care and not penalize people who decide they don’t need it at all. How can Democrats argue with that? After all, they are the pro-choice party.
